Symbols - What does heaven look like
Milk
An alternative symbol - especially in the Bible - for spiritual input. The symbolism derives from the fact that milk in Biblical times was a staple of the diet of most people and key to life [and of course of babies too]. It also derives from the similarity of curds to the honeycomb and in addition its colour, white, is the symbolic colour of Aether from where spiritual input is said to come.
In some cultures – particularly far eastern cultures – it is a symbol of Chaos. In many Hindu legends the creator churns chaos – symbolically represented as milk – which is turned into butter – spirit.
Within the context of the sexual stimulation technique milk is a euphemism for semen. So the ‘land of milk and honey’ is the land of semen and spiritual energy!! [no I'm joking sorry - or maybe I'm not].
