Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

Initiially it is unclear which abyss is being referred to - the one near the Milky Way or the one below us vibrationally.  But the reference to the West may be a clue, as the East is the 'orien't and the way one ascends, the West is a place of descent, thus I think Reichel-Dormatoff's informants were talking in symbolic terms about the second abyss, the Underworld and Hell.

Note that none of this will make sense unless you look at a map of the Egg.

There is a rather fascinating implication is what is being said here.  Vibrationally the functions of illnesses - viruses, bacteria etc are stored at lower vibrational levels, but they are cycled round via the energy recycling process up to higher levels vibrationally in order to be input to us.  Virus functions symbolically/spiritually 'rain down' on us, they don't symbolically rise up like dew!

A description of the experience

Reichel-Dolmatoff – Amazonian Cosmos

….the "Dark Region" and is under the dominion of the Nyamiri-mahsa, the Night People, supernatural beings who live there in a huge dark maloca. This region is a "refuse heap," a place where many illnesses originate and then rise to the Milky Way. But it is not truly a place of evil; it does not represent a principle opposed to the Sun, but is simply, by its association with the west and with the dead, a place where pathogenic "residues" exist; these can be invoked and used to cause injuries and sicknesses. The Nyamiri-mahsa are amoral beings, only administrators who dominate there in the darkness on the borderline between our world and the lower zone.
