Abyss

A gap between vibrational layers of energy often discovered during spiritual experience, where energy is consumed and recycled.  There is more than one abyss, as some are used also as a protective device to stop further spiritual travel.  For more details the concepts section has a detailed explanation - see Abyss.

The Map of the Egg below indicates where abysses have been found.  There is an abyss [shown in black] between the Fire and symbolic Planet levels.  There is an abyss between the Inner and Inward Court.  The outside of the Egg is its own abyss.
