Much is achieved by grouping people together to achieve things, so there is nothing wrong with the presence of a strong leading will in a group of individuals giving those individuals a sense of motivation and focus.   Where it goes wrong is when that will is imposed – for example by slavery or fear or violence or similar means.  Instead power – for that is what it is, should be given by those prepared to be part of the group, in other words power is a gift of those willing to work towards the objectives of the one ‘in power’.
