Symbols - What does heaven look like
Silver
Within the western system of generic symbols, silver is a level and layer equivalent to the moon – one of the Planets. It is thus a symbol for an Intelligence. All this is explained in the section Intelligences and their synonyms which gives a list of all the synonymous terms for the same level. There is also a description of the Metals and their correspondences in the section Metal.
An alternative symbolism may be in operation – see Chinese elements correspondences.
A third and equally important use of the symbol and one which is not at odds with those above is that silver is equivalent to Ecstasy and thus a stage on the spiritual path.
