Background

In the Greek legend, Danaë was a daughter of King Acrisius of Argos. Acrisius’s daughter had been unable to bear him an heir.  Acrisius asked an oracle if this would change, but the oracle told Acrisius that if she had a son, Acrisius would be eventually killed by him.

Acrisius decided  that he valued his life more than he needed an heir and in order to ensure she had no children, he shut her up in a bronze tower [or cave depending on the version]. But Zeus came to her in the form of golden rain, and impregnated her. Soon after, their child Perseus was born. 

As such this legend partly concerns the healing power of spiritual input [fertility] and the rain is ‘golden’ because it is from Zeus and the celestial hierarchy levels.
