Observations placeholder

I was in a sort of half dream.  We  - me and another 'person' who had the map - were driving along in a car.  It was quite gloomy and it was raining very heavily.  It was unbelievably heavy rain and everywhere seemed to be covered in water.  Huge drops of rain were falling on the screen.

Every road we took, some past villages, were eventually blocked by water.  The roads all seemed to be gradually being washed away, disappearing.  Eventually my map reader showed me a road on the map where we had to turn right and follow a track.  I was terrified, as it seemed to lead nowhere and it was deep in mud, hardly a road more a very ill kept farm track and I was sure the car we were in would get stuck.  But he told me to press on and we stopped at the bottom of a hill, fairly steep where the track led up it. 

At the top of the hill were three Minis!  Old Minis, a bit like my first car.  They were stopped in line as if waiting to go down.  It was so steep and muddy that I suppose my logical mind was thinking they were plucking up courage to go down.  Oh and it is worth adding they all had their head lights full on.

Then the first Mini set off going a hell of a speed, complete madness.  At the bottom it seemed to veer off by us deliberately, not out of control, but deliberately, as if it wanted to demonstrate something and of course it turned over.  But it didn't just turn over once it spun and spun and spun and spun and it kept on spinning like a sort of top.

Then the dream ended and I lay there thinking [as I always do] what was that all about?
