The reasons for spirit helper intervention
The name given to any spirit entity that intervenes on our behalf is a Spirit helper. It is a role and not a permanent state, Spirit helpers come and go.
They may be Intelligences, Spirit beings, our Higher spirit, another Higher spirit, a disembodied soul , or a bodied soul.
And the only reason we are likely to come in contact with them is because we appear to need help, or because they are needed to fulfil our destiny. They are in a sense a temporary or even semi permanent part of our ‘team’.
If we need general help – we are at a very low ebb, need support, comforting, guidance of a general nature or just a feeling that we are not entirely alone, then the spirit helper may come from our Totem group. This is when it helps to know our Inherited genes, as it can give a clue as to who is helping us, and whether the help is genuine.
In cases where a challenge is significantly long and arduous or difficult, spirit helpers are there to provide input, but this is when we get the invisible input – wisdom, inspiration, bliss, peace and other forms of guidance or ‘reward’. As far as I can tell the invisible input is the most important long term and for our destiny.
Spirit helpers do not seem to mete out ‘punishment’ [more correctly thought of as correction to our course of life], that is the job of our Higher spirit and this is when visions, or an hallucination or a memorable dream are used particularly because the intention is that we learn and remember the lesson.
If we are foolish, it is possible to attract other forms of spirit that are actually no help to us at all. If they think we are ignorant, or ‘wasting their time’ by asking for help when it is not needed, we can attract all sorts of unpleasantness. We are treated much as anyone would who makes, for example, arbitrary phone calls in the middle of the night to people they don’t know when drunk, then giggle about it – the difference is the spirit might fight back, not just put the phone down in annoyance.
Bridges, as we saw, can attract whatever is the spirit being of the bridge.
