Observations placeholder

I was miles high above a horseshoe shaped island.  The outside of the horseshoe was high pink and gold mountains - and they were mountains too - massive, sweeping down to an azure coloured sea.  It was warm and sunny, no clouds.  Next to the mountains were great sweeps of sand dunes, huge mounds of golden pink sand wave after wave all washed up against the mountains.  Then inside the horseshoe there were delta systems in a sort of pale olive green colour with numerous rivers running to the sea.  No mud, just what may have been grass or reeds in soft pastel green colours.  The sea was a superb turquoise colour in the bowl formed by the horseshoe.  I was flying - it was lovely, but I swooped down and landed near some form of open plan building with an almost Japanese feel to it, all sliding screens and open terraces and little clipped trees.  There were white curtains blowing in the breeze, but no one there.  Lots of ponds with carp or goldfish in them.  So, so pretty, quite real to me.  I could even feel the sand under my feet - bare feet it would seem.  It was totally unspoilt, totally untouched apart from this building from what I could see.  A magic place, oh if it were only real!!

But I woke up sadly, so that was the end, but what a lovely place
