Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa – Zulu Shaman [Dreams, Prophecies and Mysteries]
We in Africa believe that the soul goes through a number of incarnations in its development – towards reaching the goal of maturity. We believe that our present human stage is but one of several stages through which the soul must pass, and we use the symbolism of the butterfly's development from egg to caterpillar, to pupa and then to adult, as a symbol for the upward movement of the soul through various reincarnations
