Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

The technology used was hem-sync.

Robert Monroe experienced a huge number of out-of-body experiences in his lifetime – in the order of hundreds rather than tens.  His description below is a lucid well argued case for ‘design’ but not necessarily for there being one designer.  Again, the statement that there is only one God does not preclude the possibility of multiple designers.

A description of the experience

Robert Monroe – The Ultimate Journey

I look around me.  At the magnificent design, at the wonderfully engineered reduction of ideas into practical application.  At how living mechanisms modify to changes in ambience.

I look at the leaf of a tree, flexible enough to withstand changes in wind pressure, guyed and ribbed on the underside so that it always returns upward–facing, performing the function of a transducer.

I look at the kitten explorer, who learns how to use her built in calculator that measures the distance from floor to table and triggers the exact amount of energy that enables her to leap 5 times her height and land safely on the table.  My awareness reaches out to the land, air and sea, which act in profound symbiosis to provide everything that is needed for millions – no billions – of life forms that inhabit this place.

Which came first, the need or the idea?

Even if it all can be replicated eventually, I would like to meet the Original Designer.  Once.

Robert Monroe – Ultimate Journey

The physical universe, including the whole of humankind is an ongoing creative process.  There is indeed a Creator.  Who or what this Creator is lies beyond the Emitter and the Aperture and I have not been there.  Therefore that part I do not know.  This, our Creator:

is beyond our comprehension as long as we remain human
is the designer of the ongoing process of which we are a part
has a purpose for such action beyond our ability to understand
makes adjustments, fine tuning this process as needed
does not demand worship, adoration or recognition
does not punish evil or misdeeds
does not intercede or interdict in our life activity
