Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

Wim Wenders film Wings of Desire explores the theme described in this observation.  Whether Wenders knew of the book from which the observation is obtained  I do not know, but his film is eerily close to what is described here.

Wenders spirit helpers are "bundled in dark overcoats, and watch over the city with ears open to the heartbeat of the human soul, listening to the internal musings and yearnings of earthbound humans like existential detectives. In these delicate, astounding scenes we float through the thoughts of dozens of Berlin citizens, from the weary and worn to the hopeful and young, as the angels record the magic moments for some heavenly record.

When Damiel  falls in love with  the lonely trapeze artist Marion , he gives up the contemplation and observation of life to experience it himself."

Wim Wenders' film is like "poetry on celluloid, a celebration of the transient and fragile moments of being human: the warmth of a cup of coffee on a cold day, the embrace of a friend, the touch of a lover, the rapture of love"

The implication is that spirit helpers and those who are spirit may eventually long for the sensory aspects of the physical world.

This was another communication from spirit helpers, either bodied or disembodied souls.

If the communication is in words and sentences it is a bodied or disembodied soul.  If the communication is symbolic, or uses words as puns, or is simply a ‘thought’ without words – an impression conveyed, communication is with a Spirit being or Intelligence.

A description of the experience

The Boy who saw True

“I want to let you know, that if there be a hell, it is a hell of man’s own creating and was never created by God or the Devil. ... beauty on your earth is a shadow of the beauty of our heaven ………….”

[Another spirit helper said] that some souls who were far enough on and didn’t want to have to come back to earth again could become dayvas or sort of gods or what we imagine are angels… some devas who were devas to start with got so attached to a body [that is a human being] that they didn’t want to be a deva any more and became a person on earth instead so as to be near the body they loved
