The Dynamo mudra has both relaxing and invigorating prperties and is therefore excellent for fatigue due to overwork and the insomnia which can result from being too tired  to sleep.

Its primary function however is spiritual.  As a means of invigorating the will an dpromoting awareness and stillness under difficult circumstances.  Its effects are somewhat peculiar and diffiult to describe.  It is not recommended for use by those who do not meditate regularly.

It helps with tension, pain, stiffness etc along the energy pathway illustrated, tension in the joints, especially the shoulder, hip, pelvis and leg.  It also helps with general tension, fatigue and insonia.
