Intelligences - ELEMENTS WATER Ea
Identifier

Type of Spiritual Experience
Background
Ea is the Intelligence responsible for the Element of Water. The name Ea is allegedly Hurrian in origin or alternatively his name 'Ea' is possibly of Semitic origin and may be a derivation from the West-Semitic root *hyy meaning "life" in this case used for "spring", "running water." In Sumerian E-A means "the house of water", and it has been suggested that this was originally the name for the shrine to the god at Eridu.
A description of the experience
Joan Oates – Babylon
Among Mythological figures on Akkadian seals, the most frequent is the Sun-god Shamash, identified by the rays emitting from his shoulder. He is seen here ‘rising’ between two mountains.
To the right the water god Ea can be identified by the streams full of fish flowing from his shoulders.
