The Anunnaki (also transcribed as: Anunaki, Anunna, Anunnaku, Ananaki and other variations) is the collective name given to all the Intelligences in the Intelligence hierarchy – thus the Planets, the Trinity [Creator/Created and World soul] and the Signs of the Zodiac.  Thus excluding the Ultimate Intelligence from which they have all been derived.

In some of the more ancient texts the symbolic ‘partner’ of Anu – the Ultimate Intelligence is  - Ki.  Ki is Qi or Ki!  Energy.  Thus from energy the Intelligence hierarchy was created.

Thus Ki is a partner in the sense of a helper.  In some texts they are depicted as brother and sister.

“Some authorities question whether Ki was regarded as a deity since there is no evidence of a cult and the name appears only in a limited number of Sumerian creation texts.”

In the seal you can also see the Planets.  The Star may represent the Signs of the Zodiac or it may be the symbol for Love – creation is an act of love.

“The Anunnaki appear in the Babylonian creation myth, Enuma Elish. In the late version magnifying Marduk, after the creation of mankind, Marduk divides the Anunnaki and assigns them to their proper stations, three hundred in heaven, three hundred on the earth.”

Which somewhat confirms the diagnosis that man had got way too big for his tiny boots at this stage.
