Even after death we cannot immediately see higher beings, but only after one has removed all of one's sheaths.

I plead once more, seek for my spirit, for my real self, not for my material raiment I do not wear any more. Think of a figure of Light that is akin to my earthly one.

The horizons of earth are surrounded by walls: and the waves of suffering, so colossal on earth now, all roll against these walls in a monotonous beat, and are shattered against their massiveness. This surging, heaving expanse appears like a huge terrible monster. No white caps are visible, only wave after wave rising colourless to collapse again upon itself with an impotent rumble. What use the anger of human powerlessness, which lacks the impetus for comprehending the help that alone could effect the liberation from this terrible mass?

Perceive, all you poor humans, who are threatened with suffocation in the floods of unshackled elements:

The suffering is sent down as liberation from these chains.

The waves of the oceans storm more powerfully against the rampart that encloses the earth; the former must tremble from this force of the surf. Shaken violently shall be its foundations.

Hail, you blessed ones, who shall see the first wave as it will gush through the breach of the wall out of the earthly prison into the regions of light!

Great will be the moment the poor earth shall experience when its waters will unite those of our heavenly spheres.
