Background

A description of the experience

Vusamazulu Credo Mutwa – Zulu Shaman [Dreams, Prophecies and Mysteries]

  …......a family of :

  • God the Father, known by my people, the Zulus as Unkunkulu, which means the 'Greatest of the Great Ones' ;
  • and the Great Mother, known by the Zulus as Nomkumbulwana which means 'the Flower of the Many Fields, the Lady of Many Plowshares';
  • and God the Son, known by the Zulus as Umvelinangey, which means 'the First born of the Almighty'.

And  the idea of a trinity of a Godhead, is universal, not only throughout Africa but also throughout many countries of the world.  You most commonly find a father, a mother and child trinity, but sometimes with some tribes such as Nigerian tribes you find a trinity of three main gods or three female gods.
