Old style movie

Movie film is symbolic of perceptions – an extremely good symbol as it has a flicker rate like our eyes [all perceptions are stored at our flicker rate] and is a record.  The only way the symbolism fails is that film does not record emotions, tastes, smells, or touch although we now have 3D so the images are getting close to the record.  And replay is not like living the moment again, which one does with perception recall.  Nevertheless it is not a bad symbol.
