Cuckoo

 

The cuckoo takes on the symbolism of all Birds, but because its song is such a distinctive double note it is especially used as a symbol of the physical and the spiritual as paired concepts. There is added symbolism because it is a bird of the Spring.

The cuckoo clock is then a symbol of the Cuckoo and the Clock.
