A description of the experience
Edgar Cayce – Joseph Millard
A gaunt Texan came up to him in the street one day. "You're the gent who's supposed to know everything. I just want to know one thing, mister. When in hell is it going to rain?"
Edgar glanced at the cloudless, brassy sky. "Friday afternoon at four o'clock."
"It better," the Texan growled and went on.
Edgar stood rooted, his mouth open. Why had he given that answer? It had come popping out of his mouth without thought or volition. What did he know about weather?
His worry changed to wonder at precisely 4 p.m. on Friday, when the heaviest downpour in the history of that section broke the drought.
