Hi girls,
I wasnt aware that german measles and rubella were actually the same thing and now that you explain veritee that makes much more sense. When reading this to my mum she remembers getting measles as a child, about 4 she thinks, and hallucinating (think thats spelt right) about spiders and bettles all over the walls. My gran found her under the bed shaking. She also remembers being wet with sweat and shaking. To me it sounds as if this is a good thing to vaccinate against. I could not bear for any of my children to get that. Seeing them in pain is enough, without something like that.
Although liz you make a very good point about the fact that they changed the vax, like you say why? At that time they thought it was safe, and I suspose they now think the same about the current one, which makes you think. Is it really as safe as they say? I'm now begining to doubt some factors.
As for the immune system and you with your worms Scarlet, well mum says my brother ate a worm too, but there was no lack of meat at that time he was just stupid!
