A good example of-what can happen when a sensitive is handed a sealed envelope containing a target object was given at the Parapsychology Foundation Conference et Le Piol, France, in June 1967.
When the medium Douglas Johnson was handed such a sealed envelope with a picture inside, he accurately described the picture in minute detail.
No one in the room knew the contents of the envelope. When the medium Eileen Garrett was handed a similar target, she described the person who had handled it recently, and accurately predicted that the person would be going to a conference in a certain city at a certain time.
Many similar examples of psychometry (or object-reading) can be found in experiences of almost any psychic sensitive. Generally, the more emotional the psychic charge on an object, the more success the sensitive will have. Other people can also serve as "objects" impregnated with psychic energy fields from a target person
