From Sensing the Unknown - By Carl R. Green, William R. Sanford
Dolly Miller vanished from her Parris Island South Carolina home, one day in the early 1940s. Her father led the hunt for the seven year old, bu the girl could not be found. Major Arthur Burk then turned to a psychic named Florence Sternfels. Sternfels told Burk he would find Dolly’s body in a nearby swamp. A search party found the dead girl where Sternfels had said they would.
So, who had killed Dolly?
The major went back to Sternfels.
This time she described Dolly’s murder in detail. She said that the killer was a man named Joe Keller. That was a surprise because Keller had helped search for Dolly. Told of the charges, he broke down and confessed.
A court later sent him to prison for life.
