The dragon 'strikes', although as you can se it produces a sort of ecstasy.
This is the final image from Maier's Atalanta fugiens and as such is likely to be representing the very last stage of the kundalini experience, although the symbolism is not clear. In the background are the twin pillars and the palace.
The idea of the tomb - the death of the ego - is probably key in the interpretation. Maier's symbolism is confused which rather implies he himself did not reach this point.
