T C Lethbridge – A Step in the Dark
In the study of botany we find the same kind of situation as that of the magician and the spot of blood belonging to someone he wishes to influence. We found this out because we noticed that when you put an aluminium label on a branch of a rose tree, that branch usually dies. Out of twenty-two roses in our garden which still have aluminium labels on them, nineteen branches are dead. Concentrated aluminium exerted some hostile influence on the rose tree. It occurred to me to see what happened with the rates of these two. Aluminium is 25 and by testing I found a rate of 5 for the rose. But these are exact opposites on the pendulum scale. Then I remembered something else. When I want to prevent ivy from strangling a tree or rotting a wall, I hammer copper nails into the stem of the ivy.
Somebody told me this trick many years ago. Copper has a rate of 30.5 and I found its opposite of 10.5 for ivy. This is the exact reverse of healing by the Box. It is black magic.
