GREAT MASTER KYUNYO (923-973)
Eleven Poems on the Ten Vows of the Universally Worthy Bodhisattva
Transfer Of Merit
When the realm of living runs out,
My vows, too, will have been acted out.
To enlighten the living beings
Is the boundless ocean of his vows.
Since I strive and progress so,
Each way I tread is a path to good deeds.
These are the vows of the Universally Worthy,
They are also the work of buddhas.
Ah, let's fathom the Universally Worthy's mind
And follow his single path.
