Professor Ernesto Bozzano - The parapsychological manifestations of animals - 130 cases proving animal mediumistic abilities
Case 32. - (Collective visual, with anteriority of animal over human.) - The following case is very important since seven people experienced the same form of telepathic hallucination simultaneously with a dog. They shared their observation with the Society for P. R. I extracted it from the vol. X, page 127, of the Proceedings of the S.P.R.
St. Petersburg, May 4, 1891.
This is the phenomenon that our whole family witnessed. It was in Petersburg in 1880, when we lived on Pushkarska Street.
One evening in May, at around six o'clock, my mother, now Mrs. Telechor, was in the living room with her five children, of whom I was the eldest, I was then 16 years old. At that moment, a former servant of the house, who was treated as a friend, but who at that time was no longer serving at home, came to see us and was engaged in a conversation with my mother.
Suddenly, the children's joyful frolics stopped and the general attention turned to our dog "Moustache", who had rushed, barking strongly, towards the stove. Involuntarily we all looked into the same direction and we saw on the cornice of the large tiled stove a little boy, about six years old, in a shirt. In this boy we recognized the son of our milkman, André, who often came to our house with his mother to play with the children. They lived very close to us.
The apparition detached itself from the stove, passed over all of us, and disappeared through the open door. All this time - about fifteen seconds or so - the dog kept barking with all his might. He ran and barked again following the movement of the apparition.
On the same day, a bit later, our milkman came to our house and told us that his son André, after a few days' illness, we knew he was sick, had just died. It was probably when we saw him appearing.
