Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

Genius is one per cent inspiration and ninety nine per cent perspiration" Edison

And the question we need to ask is - aah yes, but where does the inspiration come from?

A description of the experience

Thomas Edison accumulated 2,332 patents worldwide for his inventions. 1,093 of Edison's patents were in the United States, but other patents were approved in countries around the globe. This must be one of the more extraordinary examples of inspiration followed by perspiration we have on the site! The following list describes the first hundred patents, which mainly deal with the telegraph system.  Please note that the links take you away from this site.  I have not checked them all to ensure they are still unbroken!
