A warning from a dead mother saved a person from a car accident. As a man was driving his usual path to work, he distinctly "heard" his mother (who had died two years before) tell him to take another route. Feeling a bit foolish, he did take another route.
Later in the day, he heard on the news that there had been a ten-car pile-up in the fog right where he would have been that morning had he not taken the alternate route.
