Symbols - What does heaven look like
Wishbone
Wishbones have become a common tradition at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter, but few understand the symbolism. The wishbone inverted is a triangular shape and thus is symbolically like a cone. It has a little pointed end which is symbolically the Higher spirit, thus if you snap the triangle you are ‘opening the door’ to the spiritual realm beyond the cone.
If, however, you now invert the wishbone it takes on the symbolism of horns! If you now follow the tradition, two people snap it while making a wish. Each person uses their little finger to pull on an end. After the bone has broken, the one with the larger bit is granted their wish. Symbolically the one with the larger portion has merged with their Higher spirit and is thus on the road to the Sun. The one with the little portion is due for reincarnation and the Moon!
