Symbols - What does heaven look like

QIAN (qiān)

The gua hexagram as it is in the I Ching

The Chinese Element to which it corresponds

The name of the upper Trigram

The name of the lower Trigram

The description of the symbol as it is given in the I-Ching

Within the Earth there is Mountain

An image of the humble

In correspondence with this

The superior person decreases what is excessive

And increases what is scarce

He weighs things and makes them balance.

This is about equality and balance and humility in its most general sense, humility in the face of the spiritual world, the need to treat people equally  and humility in order to reach the spiritual world.
