Statin deaths January 2016

All the following figures come from eHealthme, are only the figures for the USA and in addition only those the doctor has reported through the Adverse Drug Report system; as such the figures do not reflect all those who have simply stopped taking the drugs because of the side effects or died without the cause being identified.

The list also excludes a number of drugs only available outside the USA or all the different trade names for the drugs.  TheEhealthme website collects figures under the trade name used and if a drug has numerous trade names [as it often does] then the figures will be dispersed and be almost impossible to track.
