‘Atishoo atishoo atishoo’ he said
And he threw back his ears and then threw back his head
And he sneezed such a sneeze that all the ground shook
And I closed my eyes, for I hardly dared look
For a hedgehog with sniffles is a danger to all
Just one sneeze and you’ll see how his little friends fall
Pinned by prickles that flew passed his raised handkerchief
All going at speeds which defy our belief
Now the poor little mutt is all bare and forlorn
And watching with interest his pal on the lawn
Cos his pal has the sniffles and he may sneeze too
Will he be the next to be skewered by flu?
