I am 45 years old and consider myself to be an extreme case. I have been suffering from this since i was at least 3 years old. I was diagnosed with Hypnagogic hallucinations at age 15 and put on medication. The meds did not work. My experiences are too numerous to count. Extreme hallucinations and paralysis up to 6 times a night. Some times it will go away for months but then hits me like a brick. I'm afraid if i did not will myself out as soon as possible i would fall deep into my own mind and never get out. I'm afraid it will suffocate me when I'm old. I'm afraid to have an operation because i might be trapped in the void. These are my thoughts. |
