Another common phenomenon is seeing deceased spouses after their death. In fact my paternal grandmother often used to sense my grandfather at night when she was in bed. She described physically feeling him lying in the bed next to her; this gave her great comfort during the many years it took her to get over his death'
Another example:
My wife died two and a half years ago aged 76 years; I am 78. During the night whilst in bed she has appeared on numerous occasions by this bed and eyen lying in the bed next to me where she used to sleep. The thing is my eyes are open, I am not asleep - is there any explanation for such occurrences?
