Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

A description of the experience

as quoted in The Fairy-Faith in Celtic Countries, by W.Y. Evans-Wentz, [1911]

Cf. A. Moll, Hypnotism (London, 1890), pp. 141 ff., 126.

Albert Moll, in his treatise on hypnotism, says that events in the normal life which have dropped out of memory can be remembered in hypnosis:--

'An English officer in Africa was hypnotized by Hansen, and suddenly began to speak a strange language. This turned out to be Welsh, which he had learnt as a child, but had forgotten.'
