A description of the experience

http://www.steadyhealth.com/Pregnant_Wife_hearing_auditory_hallucinations_t163926.html

My wife is 21 weeks pregnant, and about a month and a half ago she told me that she was hearing a woman screaming. She kept hearing it for about a week, and then didn't talk about it. Then just today she said she heard a voice while she was on the couch. I didn't think much of it before, but I started doing some research and they said auditory hallucinations were sometimes related to post partum depression. Can this happen during pregnancy. She does have mood swings often, and today she isn't being her normal self. I just thought it was normal pregnant lady stuff that she had hormonal mood swings. Is this a sign she could be bipolar?

Is this something we definitely need to worry about and check into? Because I have read that women who have auditory hallucinaitons during PPD, can often hear voices telling them to hurt the baby or themselves. And it is related to bipolar disease. I'm very worried.
