Type of Spiritual Experience

Background

Perhaps the most prestigious and well researched paper to be produced on this subject  was that produced by Professor A L Tchijevsky.  The paper was presented at the annual meeting of the American Meteorological society in December 1926 and a translated version produced by Vladimir P de Smitt is still available on the Internet

http://www.cyclesresearchinstitute.org/cycles-history/chizhevsky1.pdf

I have extracted one or two key pages from this document for you to read, but I urge you to read the entire paper as it is fascinating from start to finish.  The Foundation for the Study of Cycles republished it in ‘Cycles’ in January 1971 and it is this version I am using, with the title  ‘Physical Factors of the Historical Process’ but it has [as far as I know] not been republished since.
