if receptive, people begin to move as if electrified and explode into wild movements. Some people scream, some laugh, others roll on the floor or go into convulsions, hop up and down, whirl their arms around etc. The Taman [meeting hall] often looks like a madhouse. Participants describe a rush of uncontrollable energy where it is impossible to foresee what the energy will do with you next. You just surrender. From this rush of energy people then experience a feeling of well being and peace as well as ecstasy – “the awakening of your energy can make you fly ecstatically”.
