Objective

It may be helpful here to have the Model of the Mind open.

An objective is something we want to do or something we need to do.  A want is a Desire, a need is an Obligation. It can also be a state we want or need to reach.

Both are activities we have ‘put on hold’.  In effect we may perceive something that triggers the Will [see Model] to suddenly decide it would like to do something or has to do something, but can’t do it now.  All objectives are thus created by the Will, even though they may have been initially triggered by our Perceptions.

They are like a long ‘to do’ list for the Will.

And the Will may spend quite a bit of its time working out how to do them.
