Background
Due to the large number of names with which this drug is called, the actual figures of hallucinations and deaths is masked. I was only able to give a small selection, the actual figures when totalled are much higher.
A description of the experience
Trifluoperazine ; Trifluoperazine Hcl; Trifluoperazine Hydrochloride - Trade names Eskazinyl, Eskazine, Jatroneural, Modalina, Stelazine, Terfluzine, Trifluoperaz, Triftazin is another complex product having central antiadrenergic, antidopaminergic and anticholinergic effects. It is believed to work by blockading dopamine D1 and D2 , but given that it is said to “relieve symptoms of schizophrenia such as hallucinations and delusions”, I suspect they may be wrong.
