Background

Another set of wonderful paintings that show his ability to perceive movement, mood and atmosphere and capture it in simple lines and colour.

He perceives without judgement, in fact with a great dealof joy and affection, and then translates this into a colour palette that reflects this perception and a composition that captures the life.  It is a celebration of diversity again as there is no conventional 'beauty' here, but Henri has seen beauty in the scene.  The paintings are
