The same medium, while working alone with the stool one day, was told in answer to a question concerning the health of her husband who was spending his vacation at sea, that he had died. The ship on which the husband had sailed was not equipped with radio, it being a small schooner. I sat with the lady, and together we questioned the force using the stool. It stuck to its statement that the husband had died. Not once did it deny it during the course of three sittings. When the schooner arrived at Seattle the husband cabled back to his wife in Honolulu that he had had a perfect voyage and had never felt better in his life.
