A description of the experience

My own one happened nearly 60 years ago, when I was just 4 years old, and although I have never seen the like since, it started a lifelong interest in the supernatural. I woke during the night to see my Grandfather walking through my bedroom and out of the door. It was pitch black, but he was in his own light: he had his brown pinstripe suit on and his flat cap. He glowed in his own light and I felt a sense of timelessness as I observed him. The same thing happened the next night. As my grandparents didn't live with us, I did wonder why grandpa was in our house, but it didn't bother me enough to tell my Mum. A day or so later I was out with my Grandmother at the shops and she was stopped by a friend who said how sorry she was to hear the news of my Grandad's passing. I was tugging at her hand to get her attention, but it wasn't until her friend had gone that she listened when I told her, "Grandpa's not dead, he's hiding in our house!"
