At a park outside of Mt Pleasant, MI in 1976, I and 2 friends ate mushrooms and spent the entire day hiking around the park; experiencing nature like never before, not saying one word to each other the whole time. In discussing the experience afterwards, we all agreed that we didn't talk because there was no need... each of us knew what the other was thinking and was going to say before words were formed and uttered. I've NEVER felt closer to God than I did that day and 43 years later, the memory and feeling of that experience is still vivid to me. Tim and Bryan, wherever you are... peace.
