Background
One of the most intriguing parts of the revelations was the following. So, remembering that it is the composer speaking.
‘I, as your composer/higher spirit put thoughts into your head, so that your will thinks they are your thoughts and desires. Having acquired this desire/objective which is really mine, you pray and ask for what I implanted in your mind. So why shouldn’t I give you what you want, given that it is actually what I wanted you to want’.
A description of the experience
Julian of Norwich – Revelations of Divine Love
I am Ground of thy beseeching:
first it is my will that thou have it;
and after, I make thee to will it;
and after, I make thee to beseech it and thou beseechest it.
How should it then be that thou shouldst not have thy beseeching?
