Propranolol - is a sympatholytic non-selective beta blocker, used to treat hypertension, anxiety and panic. Propranolol is available in generic form as propranolol hydrochloride, as well as a product under the brand names Inderal , Avlocardyl, Deralin, Dociton, Inderalici, InnoPran XL, Sumial, Anaprilinum and Bedranol

The Beta 2 adregenic receptor affects bronchodilation, so if you affect both beta 1 and beta 2 you give yourself a sort of double whammy – at over prescription doses or doses unsuited to you, you could get hypoxia from both the vasodilation and the bronchorestriction.
