Her body was so subtle and light that she could climb high and cling to the smallest twigs of trees like a bird. And when she wanted to pray she felt compelled to escape into the tree tops or towers or other high places so that away from other people she could find rest for her spirit…. And she often stood bolt upright on hedge posts and there she said her psalms, for it was distressing and painful for her to touch the earth while she was praying.
