The activity is old age! This lady was simply dying peacefully, however, she did have dementia.
A description of the experience
When my mother had been in a care home for about 6 months, on one of my visits she said something that surprised me. She always talked sensibly and to the end could give me sound advice but had a problem with her recent memory. On this occasion , she told me not to worry about her because her mother and father, whom she had dearly loved and cared for in their own home until they died were with her. She could see them in her room and they were beckoning her to come to them. Within a week, she died peacefully in the night.
