Richard Rudgley - Psychoactive bears
Type of Spiritual Experience
A description of the experience
In ‘The Encyclopaedia of Psychoactive substances’, Richard Rudgley mentions that Siberian bears in the rutting season are known to eat the fly agaric mushroom. Siberians who find them in such a state “bind them with ropes and quickly slaughter them to consume their flesh, which is psychoactive for a short time after death”.
